Can you lay the floor without profiles?
Yes, it is possible to lay a Floorify floor without profiles over an area of up to 20 m x 20 m. This is because of the exceptional dimensional stability. Floorify’s innovative click system allows you to lay the floor on both sides of the plank. If you go from the hallway into a wider living room, for example, you can continue installation both left and right without encountering problems.
There are a number of factors to take into account:
There should only be a minimal difference in temperature between rooms (max 12°C).
If one room has underfloor heating but the adjacent room does not, you will need to discontinue the floor with a transition profile so that the two sections can move freely and independently of one another.
Make surethat there is a 5 mm expansion joint on all sides of the room. This allows the floor to ‘work’ as the temperature fluctuates.
