Does a vinyl floor need to acclimatise?

Yes, for optimal laying, it’s important that your Floorify vinyl floor acclimatises. This means that it will adjust to the ambient temperature. It is essential that the floor can acclimatise in a horizontal position for at least 24 hours before installation in the room in which it will be laid so as to ensure the ideal working temperature of between 18 and 25°C.

This allows the floor to ‘destress’ and lose any tension that may have built up during transport or storage. Keep the temperature constant during installation and for 24 hours afterwards.
