What is the difference between Floorify and Novilon?

Rigid vinyl core: Floorify is known for its rigid vinyl planks and tiles that provide a strong and stable base with an advanced click system for floating installation. This structure makes Floorify floors extremely durable and resistant to dents, scratches and water. Novilon, on the other hand, is a type of roll vinyl, meaning it is more flexible and softer and is usually installed by gluing it directly to the subfloor.

Installation: Floorify is installed with a click system that requires no glue, making it easier to install and remove without damaging the subfloor. Novilon is usually glued directly to the subfloor, which is a permanent solution that may require professional installation.

Water resistance: Both floors offer good water resistance. However, thanks to its rigid core and click system, Floorify offers excellent protection against water and is suitable for use in all areas of the house, including wet rooms. Novilon is also water-resistant, but as it is often glued, the edges must be sealed well to prevent water infiltration.

Durability and Comfort: Floorify floors are known for their durability and ability to withstand heavy loads. They are also comfortable underfoot and offer good sound insulation. Novilon is softer and can feel comfortable, but may not be as able to withstand heavy furniture or very high loads as Floorify.

Aesthetics and Styles: Floorify offers a wide range of designs that mimic the natural look and texture of wood and tile. Novilon also offers a variety of patterns and colours, but consists of a soft and flexible material. This gives a different kind of aesthetic to Floorify's more rigid and realistic wood and tile looks.

Maintenance: Both floors are relatively easy to maintain. Simply vacuuming and an occasional mopping will suffice to keep both Floorify and Novilon clean.
