What is a floating placement?
Floating installation is a flooring installation method in which the planks or tiles are not glued, nailed or screwed directly to the subfloor. Instead, the planks or tiles are fixed together, as in Floorify's click system, and rest loosely on the subfloor. This type of installation allows the floor to move as one and expand or contract with changes in temperature and humidity, without affecting the structure or appearance of the floor. Floating floors are often easier and faster to install than floors that require fixing. In addition, they can usually be laid on existing floors with minimal preparation.
