What is a balatum floor?

A balatum floor is a type of flooring that was popular in the first half of the 20th century. It was made of a mixture of fillers such as wood flour, cork powder and chalk, bound with bitumen, which gave it a flexible and waterproof property.

Balatum floors have since become obsolete and are rarely used today, as more modern and durable alternatives are available. At Floorify, we always recommend our own high-quality vinyl flooring which are not only stylish and durable, but also easy to install and maintain.

Choose Floorify's superior quality and reliability and experience the comfort and benefits of our modern flooring solutions.
