Can you install your vinyl floor close to a fireplace?

You can install Floorify in rooms with fireplaces. Make sure to take the heat from the fire into account.

If the fireplace is very close to the floor, place a bluestone stone under the fireplace to shield the area in front of the fireplace from direct heat radiation. If you don't do this, the temperature in the area immediately in front of the fireplace may become too high (>60°C) and could damage the floor. Optionally, a fireback or fire-retardant mat can be placed on top of the bluestone. Of course, it is also important to provide an expansion joint of at least 5 mm.
