Floorify water-resistant?

All Floorify floors are completely waterproof and therefore, unlike parquet or laminate, extremely suitable for use in damp rooms such as bathrooms or kitchens. Wet maintenance poses no problem.

Because you install Floorify floating, the product is not suitable for incorporating a drain and can therefore not be used for a walk-in shower. Use as a floor in a shower with a shower tray is possible.

Although Floorify floors are completely waterproof this does not mean that you can use them as a vapour barrier or vapour seal to solve a moisture problem in, for example, a basement. Floorify is a finishing product and you can never use it to solve a structural moisture problem in the screed/subfloor. The screed/subfloor on which you lay Floorify should always be dry (see laying instructions). A new screed/subfloor should be allowed to dry out sufficiently before you lay Floorify on it. Rising moisture can damage the floor beyond repair.
