Preparing your herringbone floor
Preparing the substrate: this one should clean, flat, permanently dry and stable are. Depending on the type of surface, you need to take into account a number of concerns
What about uneven surfaces?
Surface flatness tolerance: undulation maximum 5 mm over 2 running metres.
Installation on ceramic floor: joints maximum 5 mm wide and/or 4 mm deep.
Let the floor acclimatise sufficiently horizontally at room temperature for at least 12h before installation for better ease of laying.
Think carefully about exactly how you want to lay the floor, measure the room well and use a laying plan.
